Zoom Zoom

As most of my close friends know,I am very interested in car industry, not only appreciate the lovely design of the certain types of cars, but always would like to have the latest information about the latest cars,no matter from which company.

I am sure all of you have seen the new Mazda RX 8;Mazda have done brilliantly with it's new model, which doesn't mean the previous ones where awful, but this one is somehow different. they have used a different type of engine and different type of structure for the car which is nice. The new engine, RENESIS (Rotary Engine's Genesis) is a different type of engine that we are all familiar with.In order not to give you wrong infromation about the engine,I just quote the info from the Mazda official site.
In a traditional 4-stroke piston engine, the same cylinder, does four different jobs - intake, compression, combustion, exhaust.

A rotary engine, however, allows each of these four jobs to be done in a different section of its housing. The effect is not unlike having a separate cylinder to perform each of the four jobs.In a rotary engine there is no linear motion to convert. Pressure is contained in chambers created by different areas of the housing and convex faces of a triangular rotor. As combustion occurs the rotor is immediately made to turn thus reducing vibration and increasing potential engine revs. The resultant increase in efficiency also means that the engine can be much smaller for equivalent performance of a traditional piston engine.
But the basis of how it works as described by Mazda is:

The main component of the rotary engine is the triangular rotor, which orbits within a roughly oval housing (stator) in such a way that the rotor’s three apexes are in constant contact with the inner wall of the housing, forming three sealed volumes of gas, or combustion chambers. In effect, each of the rotor’s three faces acts like a piston. As the rotor rotates within the housing, the three chambers that it creates change size, producing a pumping action. In the centre of the rotor is a small externally toothed gear that is fixed to the housing. A larger internally toothed gear mates with this fixed gear, determining the path that the rotor will take through the housing.Because the rotor is mounted off-centre on the output shaft it turns the shaft with the same motion as a handle turns a crank, moving output shaft through three revolutions for every one of its own.

And don't forget the freestyle door system, which gives the car the sense of being both compact and also being convenient for the passengers.

Nice Holiday

I had a week off from my work,so had sometime to spend on my own, family and friend, which was just awesome.Had a short trip to Scotland, lovely scenery and clear blue sky along the sunny weather. No matter would you do,but when you spend time where you have memories and have friends,it will be fun.

George W. Bush and Professor Liebstrom

I got a very funny present, 2DTV DVD series 3. I don't know if you have seen it or not,but if you have seen the Shoot the dog video clip(George Michael's song), they have used the same characters and they are expanding their horizons and not covering only political figures but also artistic and also athletics as well.

If you wanna know more about this movie, check their website @ 2D TV and you can see the new series on ITV 1 as well.

As you've seen I hardly get the chance to write,so,whenever I do write now I might write about different separate subjects. I think that's all the time I've got for this time,so if you want you can check this blog later on in case it has been updated.

Another year gone and another loss in Iranian Theatre and Cinema Society. Mehdi Fathi, the great actor who was acting astonishingly in Imam Ali passed away in the last minutes of the last year. I just saw the related news in BBC Persian and was very surprising for me. God Bless his Soul.

Return of the King

Finally I got the chance and time to write in my forgotten blog.In the previous posting I promised tow rite about living and working in a countryside place.

As I would like to see the positive points, lets start with them first.First of all I hate busy and polluted areas, although they are mostly rare to find in capital or big cities but living in a small town has it's own advantages. First of all you will always have huge amount of fresh air, lovely scenery and wild animals running around you. As far as I am concerned these are very crucial to keep you calm and on ease, but remember working in such an environment could be boring as well. If you just wanna work and spend time within your work environment it is fine but if you wanna have a more social life and more enjoyable one, you need to have a type of transportation ready for you. You can never rely on bus services, taxi's are expensive and if you wanna spend alot on them, you have think again that if you are working to have fun or to save!!!

There are some certain occasions that you won't forget because of having a party with your friends, being stocked on the road because of the snow or whatever you might think of, but I do enjoy it.

I know it would be boring to live and work in the same place, see the same people everyday eventhough you are friends but this can lead to a better and closer friendship, don't you think so?!

Just as someone who has done this and has gained some experience, wherever you wanna go try and learn the environment you are going to, your local attraction and shopping centres and the major things happening around you. Then I think if you are serious in your goal, whatever happens you will reach your end without any difficulty.

Life is enjoyable no matter where you are, depends how you see your life.

No Politics,No Business news,just Music

I am not that much a Mac type of person,to be honest haven't used it that much just in Uni,which was some of those old iMac's which hardly work and always crash. But these new ones seem to be OK,mostly the programs and also the iPod. I downloaded the iTunes sometime ago, cool software to use and have good radio stations, some Persian and loads of others. I found this radio station quite nice to listen,it is relaxing and calm. It's called FolkValley. As the name suggests it's a folk station, but I do believe it has a selection of good tunes,so if you wanna listen and have iTunes, just look for this station;if you don't have the software just get it and enjoy. Sometimes a good music is far more better than a good food, don't you think so?

Emirates route expansion

One of the most interesting carriers in air industry(from my point of view) is making a big expansion to it's routes, which is including flights to Scotland, mainland China, West Africa, USA and Europe.Lots of passengers uses Dubai as their end destination or their connecting point, which is a perfect point for the airline. They did not fly directly to USA before, they just had code shares with other airlines to carry their passengers to their desired destinations.

This sounds a big news for all the other carriers and also passengers. There would be daily flights to Glasgow from 10th April, and hoping to start direct flights to New York from 1st June, although they are still waiting for regulatory approval.[TravelMole]
