British Midland the 2nd largest Airline in United Kingdom,is trying to cut 1,500 jobs in accordance to cut the costs by £100 million.The carrier has faced a pre-tax loss of £19.6 million,has a no-frills airline as well,BmiBaby,which is expanding and announcing several new routes from Manchester.

Airline industry has suffered alot after the 11th September 2001 and also from recent incident of SARS,seems this decade and the new millenium were not so of a chance for Airline Companies.
